Crystal brings over 25 years of experience in public safety, and administration to her role at the Marnie Knaak Music and Resilience Foundation. A former Executive Administrative Assistant, she is skilled in operations, strategic planning, compliance and community engagement.
Crystal’s passion for trauma-informed care is rooted in personal experience. After losing her father, an Los Angeles Police Department Sergeant involved in the North Hollywood Bank Shootout, to suicide in 2000, she became a passionate advocate for first responder mental health suicide loss support, and trauma recovery. Her dedication to resilience and healing.
At the foundation, Crystal combines her expertise in organizational leadership with her committed to healing, resilience and connection —helping create safe spaces where children and families can thrive through the power of music.
